Current Conditions:

Thursday, April 1st

ski season is definitely over now! there is still snow in the Park, but it is patchy at best -- and there is open water where the trail crosses the little creek by the entrance kiosk. Ah well . . . . for a year with so little snow, the Nordics still had an "OK" kind of season, and the Birchleg went well. See you again in December!

Welcome!

Who We Are:

Murtle River Nordics is a non-profit society dedicated to providing quality cross-country ski trails in Wells Gray Park. The 30-km wilderness trail system we maintain also provides many hours of summer-time enjoyment for hikers, mountain-bikers, and horse-riders. No motorized vehicles are allowed. Ski trails are trackset at regular intervals to provide the best possible conditions. Skiing usually starts in early to mid-December and continues until early March.
