Current Conditions:

Thursday, March 5th

Ski track was re-set today on the 30-km Loppet loop trail, and conditions are reported to be excellent! The trail crew saw fresh wolf tracks on McLeod Hill, but no moose sign -- the moose, being clever, have moved to lower elevations and can be seen along the road leading up to the Park.

The weather is supposed to be cold and clear this weekend -- great skiing conditions!

Have you seen Dawson & Helmcken Falls in winter? Now is a great time to visit the Park!

Welcome!

Who We Are:

Murtle River Nordics is a non-profit society dedicated to providing quality cross-country ski trails in Wells Gray Park. The 30-km wilderness trail system we maintain also provides many hours of summer-time enjoyment for hikers, mountain-bikers, and horse-riders. No motorized vehicles are allowed. Ski trails are trackset at regular intervals to provide the best possible conditions. Skiing usually starts in early to mid-December and continues until early March.
